Well ive seen claires C&C and i love it! and I'm researching making my own. I dont want C&C cages everywhere so wondered wether it would be a good idea to put all the boars in (once neutered and the right age) in the C&C with the girls? I have 4 Boars (Lincolns would say as he is as I'm thinking of finding him a rescue sow thats already neutered) and 3 sows. The boars are currently in 2 pairs.
What does everyone think?
Would the boars fight? is best only put one pair in with them? (if so i would pick the littleuns so they could be back with there sister).
THANKS:)p

C&C is great, and they'll have lots of room, but neutered boars are still boars and generally won't live in groups. 2 boars together can be ok, or one neutered boar running with a group of sows - but you won't be able to put them all together, as they'll still want to hump and fight!

Some people have success with boars in groups of more than 2 but I think these are the exception rather than the rule.

If the boars are currently living in pairs (except Lincoln) and happy, I would leave the pairs and get Lincoln neutered to live with your girls.

Just my opinin! Good luck whatever you decide

If the boars are currently in 2 pairs, I would leave them as that, in 2 pairs. If you put them all in together you risk breaking up the friendships of the pairs and could well end up with (Not including Lincoln) 4 single boars x

You can split c&c cages. You can put grids down the middle as dividers so its like 2 cages in 1. If you do that they can still see each other, but i dont know if they would still fight if they cant actually get to the sows.
