A friend of mine has just asked if I would like to take on these two 3 1/2 year old sows - aren't they beautiful? I really, really want them, but I already have 3, and Nova may be pregnant - so, ontop of 6 rabbits and 4 cats, I may have my hands full already! They are indoor pigs and I would love to have indoor pigs, as mine currently live outdoors. Plus, I am off to uni in September - although I have a chance of being allowed guineas in my second year, I almost certainly won't be allowed in my first year so I couldn't take these two with me :( But aren't they just gorgeous?
I may just look after them for the summer, and let my neighbour have them afterwards, as she is looking for two - but I don't know if it would be too hard to part with them!

Their house looks a bit small. If you did feel like taking them on could you not intergrate them into your outdoor herd? Perfect time of year to acclimatize to being outdoors. Are you able to take the outdoor pigs to uni?
 
I know what you mean about having pets a uni.
I'm in my second year and have 4 piggies and literally have to hide them from my landlord. Its even more difficult in first year, especially if your living in student halls!
They are absolutely adorable though! :)

What if they start squeaking while the landlord is around!

I had a cat in my apartment and when the landlady came over once I had to put him in his cage under a pile of blankets (just for a few minutes literally, while she brought us a new hoover!) and turn on some music in case he meowed :)
 
Aw I'm sorry you have to leave your pets, that's so hard. :( I had to do that too when I went to college but am back with them now. Do you have to leave all the other pets with your family?

I wouldn't really want to take any more on if you have to go to uni in september, unless maybe you can integrate them with your outdoor herd. Or just take them for a while and see how it goes and then see if you want to keep them or rehome them. Good luck with them, they're really cute :)
 
They are very, very cute! But I must agree, the house as well as the cage are a bit small for two piggies.
It really sounds as if you have your hands full already, but maybe you find another great home for the gorgeous girls.
 
Thankyou guys, yeah their house is quite small :( I think I have decided to see if my neighbour would like them, as I am just worried that if I get any more, I won't have enough time/love to spread across all the animals I currently have!
My neighbour has just told me that she wants to get two guineas, and she has a huge hutch with a built in run, so I think she may have them, which is good as I can still see them!
