I'm assuming youve got two boys (as two is the norm with boys :)) )

In which case this is a lovely space for them. Even the ramp doesnt look to bad and these can often be too steep for cavys. The only thing you may find is its a little slippy (securing a piece of towel will help with grip, and you may want to add a side for safety :) )

Otherwise it looks lovely! Youll have to post pics of them after they have moved in! :)

hi you

i have got one boy and 3 girls ,
i will add a piece for carpet tile to the ramp so they won't slip.

Ah, well that may be a little tight for the four of them, but so long as they are an establised group they should be ok. :)

Great about the carpet tile.

Did you consider a C&C?

I would say most definatly no more than 4. Its a bit tight for them all. But I'm hoping they arent in there all day. Guessing they get time out too. I had 5 in one a bit like this one. And it wasnt fair on them. Soon changed to a 3 storey then a C&C.

Its so unfortunate that pet shops dont sell cages that are big enough to house a good group of piggies. :(

x.

they are a well established group with hamish as a neutered boar with his 3 girlfriends.
each level of the new cage is 4ft x 2ft and i also have a ball pit i use for floor time when the weather is bad with a run out in the garden for the nice days.

one day i would love to get a huge c & c cage for the piggies.

just an update we decided to buy another flora 750 cage and put them both together so there is another floor for the to run around in the are still getting floor time in the ball pit and in the garden on nice days but as they have got a little bigger since the first cage was bought they needed the extra space.
