Just sharing a couple of ideas.

First one is something that I found has helped my pigs use their hutch ramp more easily. I already have steps on it, but for one particular agouti girl, her paws still slipped a little between those steps, so rather than cutting up carpet which would shred so easily and risk them eating it, I cut pieces of corrugated cardboard to fit the gap and pulled off one layer leaving the corrugated side exposed and slotted it into the gap. It's cheap, can be renewed easily and if they eat it, hey its just cardboard...

With mine being outdoor pigs and indeed spending a lot of hours out on the grass in their run now, I wanted something comfortable for them to lay on when it comes time for a nap 😴. I have fleece snuggle tunnels but in this warm weather it's too much for my pigs. I came across these 'pet beds' that accommodate a pig so perfectly. Mine snuggle up inside and rest their head on the sides of the bed. The beds wash and dry so easily and keep their shape. They're priced well so I can afford multiple beds to use and wash, and I just thought I'd share what I found and that works for me...

I've started using them in their hutch too and Millie just can't keep out of hers...

PERFECT PETZZZ BED GENUINE. PERFECT FOR SMALL CAT/DOG/RABBIT/GUINEA PIG £2.99 | eBay

If you message the seller directly and mention my name, you might be able to make a saving by buying direct. His email is [email protected]. I've found his customer service second to none and now have quite a lot of these beds!

I'm just passing on my experiences and I'm not connected in any way to this seller.

One each. Its rare for my two to sleep next to each other at all, whether it be on one of the beds or in a hidey!
Mine don't share either and I have a neutered boar, Shrimp (the black hairy chonk in the pic) and two slightly smaller wifelets.

Initially I only bought the one bed, but I could see some didn't abide by the time sharing system 😂. So I bought another two beds, even though all three don't always want to use all three beds at the same time. But. The option is there if they want to 🤷‍♀️.

Now I'm getting three more for inside their hutch, along with some spares so I can wash some and they can still have beds to chill on. I'd never have been able to afford multiple 'cat beds' at the prices they are! 😲 Mine also have fleecy tunnels, but in the warmer weather, they just flatten them and lay on top with feet and legs over hanging and these beds have somewhere for them to rest their heads too. Which is soooo cute 💕
