Black piggies
Senior Guinea Pig
I adopted you in June, briefly thought you were a baby from the rescue photo, but you were at least 5 years old, congenitally small and skinny. The rescue said you'd maybe not last too long. I expected a frail senior piggy, but you were a live wire, very active, always bright, happy and curious.

I think you were the most clever piggy I've had. You and Mila liked being on hay under Amazon box packing paper. You'd make a hole in the paper and as part of my training you'd peek your eye out and make your almost silent, kitten meow wheek for food, and then I'd give you food through your serving hatch. So cute.
You developed a bladder tumour. On your last day yesterday the vet said you were riddled with cancer and your recent weight gain was probably tumour. But to the end you were so happy. It was a blessing.
Your star is shining over the bridge now, with your sister. Mila will be with you when it's her time. Goodbye sweet girl.
