well my two boys (patch n nala) are living outside which they love! however.. how can i keep them warm? ive given them nice bedding and ive even bought them a lil bed for them in the hutch, but i worry that there cold :(

2 of mine are outdoor piggies. I make sure there is a contained smallish area in their bedroom which i stuff full of hay every dauy and top up at night. I have carpet down over the front so wind/rain can't get in at night and would put the carpet down if it rained really hard during the day. This year I've bought a snuggle safe and will probably try and insulate the hutch some how. Their hutch is positioned against a wall, with a low wall opposite (less than 2m away) and a shed to the right hand side (shed too small to fit huge guinea hutch in and not really any warmer!). The house is a couple of metres away to the left so it is sheltered on as many sides as possible.

We've always kept ours outside, well in the shed/garden room. Just make sure they have PLENTY of straw! They'll be fine!:)
Oh and a few blankets over the hutch to insulate heat!

Please only used chop straw or hay for piggies. Real straw is unsuitable and can cause injuries to the eyes.
