Kind Of Grossed Out! Help!

hello!

This is gonna be kind of a difficult thread to type up! Right I was trimming Tinsel's hair so that it doesn't get so messy and finally was able to see some shape of his backside. However when inspecting his private area for anything unusual (that sounds so bad, but I hope you know what I mean) And I saw something sticking out of, what I can only describe as his main private bit haha It was very strange like it was brown and thin but when I pulled it out it was white and soft. Could it be solidified ejaculate? I don't think it was impaction? Just a bit worried now and grossed out xD I hope I don't sound like an idiot! D: Any help is appreciated!

It sounds like a case of "Penis Protruding" which can happen with boars living with or near sows. It probably just needs a clean but sometimes it is just a case of it won't go back in to it's hidey place. One of mine, Mitch suffers from this & I clean it gently with lukewarm water, don't use baby oil or similar though you could use Petroleum Jelly. It sound like it, was I right in pulling it out? It came out quite easy and Tinsel seems fine now. Should I worry?I'll have to give him a check again in a few days, It would make sense though is this was it as he is still in teenage stage should I say and his fur stopped me from seeing anything so I I couldn't stop any build up, thanks for the help! Such messy things! Just like to point out that there are no sows here so does that change things?

Sounds like it was probably a sperm rod combined with a bit of protruding willy as Stewybus has said. Both of these are fairly common - if you search the forum you'll find loads of threads about them, many have pictures so you could compare what you saw with them.

It's not a bad thing to check his privates - regular cleaning of boar bits can be very beneficial to them as they can make quite a mess of themselves.
