Doragon
Teenage Guinea Pig
I sadly lost Kuro last week following a sudden stroke. It was awful, and so so sudden - but I am grateful it appeared to be fast and hopefully painless.
I’ve had Kuro since 2020, adopting her and her sister Panda during that brief relapse in lockdown! She’s always been a bit of a timid and needy pig medically - she developed cysts on her back early in life and due to the size and placement, surgery was not an option and I’ve been managing them every since.
Despite being shy, she had a huge wheek and would come over for some gentle head rubs and eat out of my hand, such a fluffy girl! I’ll miss her kind and patient nature, she was such a good girl for the daily ritual of making sure everything was clean, draining and saline solutions - she did it all for the extra treats.
I’ll miss you very much. Popcorn free over the bridge, sweet Kuro.
