Large smelly clumpy poo

Hi, I'm hoping someone cant help i feel so helpless.
I rescued a neutered boar September 2020 all has been fine. A few weeks ago i gave him some readigrass and grass from garden i also changed to meadow hay in feb he was on timothy hay before. I have since found out you need to change hay slowly . He has since had soft,clumpy, smelly poo not diarrhoea. I took him of veg for 48 hrs no change. So took him to vets and had his poo tested and nothing found he is healthy, happy eating hay and drinking fine and no weight loss. I started giving him fibreplex no change so i tried poop soup again no change at this point i took him off veg for 5days and started putting a littte fibreplex pellet in with normal food a little improvement on the shape no longer clumpy but still soft. So i thought i would give I'm the tinest bit of kale as vet recommended a less watery veg. And omg today we are back to big clumpy poos i dont know how a little piggie can have such pig poos come out of them. I just feel defeted and dont know what to do. I'm going to call the vets again but to be honest they just said he was a healthy boy last time and his poo was fine £65 down just to test poo. I wouldnt mind spending the money if they could find a problem well I'm glad they didnt find a problem but i just dont know what else i can do/try

Was he used to grass when you were feeding it to him? Hay change shouldn’t affect his poo as hay is hay. I would continue giving him some probiotic every now and then. It may be a mild tummy upset but I don’t know. Leave out veg and grass entirely and see how he goes. You can then (after it’s been normal for 48 hours) try him on a sprig or two of coriander for a few days. This is much milder on the stomach. If it still persists after that then the vet does need to check everything again.

He hadnt had grass since last year. I havent fed him veg for 5days nows and there was a slight improvement gave him a tiny bit of kale last night and today its back to square one. It hasnt been normal for a good 3 weeks now. I have contacted the vets so i will see what they say. I think apart from leaving veg out his diet which i know i cant do is the only thing that seems to make a tiny difference.

Please take your piggy off any fresh food for a day or two to allow the gut to settle down again. If that doesn't work, see a vet in case there has been something nastier come into the gut with the grass (faecal lab test).

Always introduce grass and new foods slowly in small quantities at first after a longer break to allow the gut microbiome to adapt to it and to prevent diarrhea or bloating. Some guinea pigs can react much more sensitively than others.
