I've been resisting cutting Elijah and Errol's hair as they're going to Laura (CCC4) and she's so much better at it, but today I'd had enough and decided to give them the chop! The look on their faces says it all!

Woweee, they look fabulous! You did a brilliant job Sophie, I am very impressed. I can't wait to kiss those darling lickle faces, they're sooo precious. I fell in love with them all over again seeing these pics. That last pic of Elijah just about made me swoon!

I love Errol's face in the background of the first pic. You can see he looks distinctly bemused!

Thank you Sophie, both for the pics and for giving them a haircut. I'm feeling a lot steadier now, so hopefully just another few weeks and I can take them off your hands. :)

The may not look overjoyed - but, by God, are they gorgeous! x)x)x)x)

Can you recommend the hairdresser? He seems to be doing a nifty job! :))

Aww Sophie, they look gorgeous x)x) the hair cutting isn't that bad is it? When do they leave for their new home? Wish I lived closer, you have some gorgeous guineas that need a home. Hope all goes well for them.

I didn't crop him out because it amused me too... you can see him thinking 'good god, I'm next!' :))

Just what I thought!

Sharon, the boys are coming to me sometime soon. I reserved them back in June but not been able to get them here for one reason or another, at the moment we're mainly waiting on me getting over my agoraphobia a bit more, and of course Sophie needs to get better! Hopefully in the next few weeks. :)

woweee, what gorgeous piggies! So groomed and pretty, you did a great job SophieW....I'm sure hoping CCC4 can get them soon...It will make her feel so much better once they are with her.

They look stunning! I love their style swept off the face.

Any tips on cutting peruvians hair? Mine just look chopped not nice and even like yours. Also what are you shampooing them in?

Wonderful photos. :)

I had to come back and see my gorgeous boys. They're just too handsome for words. x)

Seeing their photos really spurred me on today, I walked the furthest I have for months and felt almost normal. Picturing these chaps helped loads, my heart just melts whenever I see them. I'll get a nice photo printed of these two and my others and carry them with me when I go out, see if that doesn't get me going out a bit further! Really just need to get confident with popping down to see Vedra and I'll be all ready for them.

I did decide on second names, by the way...I'm just keeping them secret until I actually have them. :)

Lisa, the boys are shelties, hence the swept back hairstyle. :)
Peruvians are a whole other kettle of fish, getting their hair even is much trickier - but Sophie can surely advise as she has/had a few gorgeous Peru's.

LOL, I did the Perus today too but there's no way I'm sharing photos of them, looks like a monkey did it with a hedge trimmer! :))

The shelties are easier in a way, I find it hard to do Perus evenly too. I just basin cut around the edge, then brush their hair all forward over their face and give them a 'Gok' style fringe! Vikki can vouch for what poor Pepperpot looks like afterwards rolleyes

Laura, I'm glad you're making progress, I always update the boys on how you're doing!

Thank heavens it's not just me then. My poor girls. I am going to try and shampoo and condition them sometime soon (last time one of them tried to bite us) but they look quite scraggly now despite being brushed.
