I have 2 piggies (males), I've had them for 3 months. 1 is a short haired (Carlos) and the other is a like crazy medium haired one (Charlie).
I have been noticing the last maybe month Charlie has been getting very lazy. (He is only 1 year). He can walk around and get to his stuff normally and easily. It's mostly when he's eating/drinking. He would walk over to his pellets normally then start eating his pellets and would just plop down and spread out.
Maybe I'm thinking into this too much and he's just a lazy piggy
. Or do I need to get him checked to see if maybe his legs are giving him some trouble. I did read (I'm not sure if it is true) that piggies are very good at hiding their illnesses. I doubt that it is a 'illness' but you never know.
