Are anyones piggies lazy? zzz

My 3 just don't seem at all bothered about floor time! ?/

Speedy and Nugget seem happy just to sit about and watch the world go by, Scruffy will have a little wander but nothing significant.

I put things on the floor, tunnels, toys etc but to no avail, to be honest they don't go in for toys really! :{

They are happy pigs so I'm not worried, but it would be nice to see a little enthusiasm in the whole exercise thing! Lol mallethead

Some piggies are more active than others. As long as they are healthy then they will be happy piggies..

If you want they to have a bit more fun (and fun for you to watch too) then try putting things like brown paper bags / kitchen roll tubes stuffed with hay into the floor time area! they may move around more then!

My 2 girls are not very excited about playtime either. They have a brief wander and then back to bed. Not even toys or food can entice them :)). They don't have any set times for scampers I just leave the door open in case they want to wander.

It kinda depends what mood my girls are in. Willow is the most chilled and more oftern than not is happy to have a bit of a snooze in her pigloo before occasionally going for a wander, Pippa always investigates the whole room and Pixel, as a baby, loves the chance to stretch her legs and always has a good mooch round :))

harry my big boy is lazy he loves his home & bedroom he's my cuddle boy x>>
but if i put him on the floor he'll just sit under the table & wont move paper bags anything like that wont make him move either

i think he likes his own space & a big cuddle :)p

I'm so glad mine aren't the only ones! xx>>>

Mine came out twice today after all, once for floor time and then again later when I cleaned them out.
Not that they did any exercise mind you but you'd think they had run the marathon or something, they get back in their house and flake out! Bless them, my lovely lazy piggies x)

My boys are all chilled lazy characters - Monty is not bothered with moving about would much rather snuggle up on you and go to sleep!

Melvin and Parsnip will move round a bit but not that much.

Leo bunny just sits in the same place all day same in the run.

I was thinking I must get a bigger run for him but cant see him using the space now - he has finally settled down at 13! If he is inside he likes to explore the room but once he has 'chinned' everything and everyone he settles down for a long wash then a rest.

Not had girls for a few years now but they use to run round everywhere a lot more!

Lazy boys here :)

When I had girls they really got up some speed and would just chase each other round and round until they wore themselves out. My boys are out all the time in a big play area and wander about but not often run. I think it makes a difference depending on how much space they have throughout the day. The girls were cooped up more than I would have liked so definately made the most of play time! The boys, well they're boys, if it doesn't involve sleeping, eating or making things smelly they're not interested! LOL

i have this problem with my 2 i put them in a big run on the grass and i always put a igloo in there they just stay in there and eat the grass whats in there x:{

Nerys goes as far as paper bags, otherwise it's moving leisurely from one flooping corner to next around the living room....rolleyes

I was about to post something very similar! I have two boys and they are in their outside run today but they haven't ventured out of their little wooden house at all. Might as well not bother really.

I wish...

my Boars were like that!:o even with one of them having a suspected bladder stone they are still chomping at the bit to get out of thier pen,, then come out and go screaming round the coffee table at 90 miles an hour underneath and over the top ... popcorning all the way .. they like to get up speed across the rug and then skid along the flat flooring! its hilarious... x)
