Leaky ice pod

Has anyone else had an ice pod leak?
We had one do the same last year. It was absolutely fine when I put it in the freezer, then when I got it out it had sprung a leak!

I will pop the seal back in once it’s defrosted enough, but it makes me weary of using it again.

Luckily mine have never leaked but I do check it every time I use it.

Ah gotcha, yeah that is weird. Faulty, maybe? But it's a weird thing for a fault, though.

Maybe the material the pod is made of becomes fragile over time and with all the freezing and thawing it becomes less stable
