I am going away for 10 days at Easter. My usual pet sitter who is also a friend of mine has always come twice a day to feed my cats, rabbit and guinea pigs plus various other smaller pets. This year due to work commitments she can only visit once a day in the evenings. I am happy for most of the pets to be fed just once a day. The cats will have timer bowls to open in the morning and lunchtime so they will have plenty of food. The guinea pigs I thought could have everything put in that would normally be split into 2 feedings. This would be dry food, veggies, dried grass and hay. The rabbit is more of a worry to me as she would eat everything in one go and then would have nothing for the next 23 hours! I'm thinking of getting a timer bowl for her as well to open in the morning. She lives in a 6 x 4 shed so is not confined to a hutch and has the guinea pigs in hutches around her. I could look for someone else to visit in the mornings but I'm not sure it is really necessary. Just wanted to know if others think this is a suitable option or not.

I would also be concerned with the piggies scoffing all their food right off the bat especially the veggies and with only one visit a day if any fall ill directly after the visit it's a long time till the person comes back to see they aren't well if you know what I mean. Mind you I'm a worry wart.
