Well, we drove to Nottingham yesterday (Friday, half term, I know!) to collect Bridgette. Soooooo looking forward to meeting her and she didn't disappoint! Her rescue photo really hadn't done her justice...she's gorgeous...and huge!

Here are a few pics of the two of them yesterday on the journey home and in the run as they did their bonding bit!

The first pic...Leo seems to love her!:

Well, last night brought no catastrophes...so hopefully they are going to be fine. They have pushed the cage out from the wall and they are currently hopping around and around it! Very cute! Fingers crossed she'll be settled fully soon...it'll be bliss!

Thanks!

They are getting on sooooo well! Bridgette is obviously still finding her bearings but she keeps flopping down and seems quite chilled! Leo seems to be over humping her (quite a sight considering her size!) and they are relaxed. Not snuggly yet, but getting there!:)

they are SO cute... I'm getting a rabbit after christmas, it'll be allowed in every room apart from the guinearoom :) x do you know how to toilet train them? xx

Leo used to use a litter box (corner one from P@H). He was already house trained when we got him, but obviously his new house made him a bit unsure and prone to accidents.

We lined his litter tray with newspaper and then put in a bundle of shredded paper on top. Whenever he looked like he wanted to go, we pointed him in that direction! Also putting in some of his poos helped to scent it for him.

Strangely, we've had no problems with Bridgette over night - no puddles anywhere and she's always been an outside bun until now!:{:)

give it a few weeks and just wait they will snuggle up to each other, my tara and her hubbun dylan, sit there and dylan is sitting down and tara has her head under his chin dylan then puts his head onto of taras and it looks soooo lovely they are sooo inlove with each other. regularly wash each other.

tara didnt have a friend she was a lone bunny for 4yrs as she can be a nippy bunny and a growly bun so i was so unsure how she would take to another rabbit, but rabbitfan came down with dylan and introduced them, tara humped dylan for a day and dylan then humped tara for 2 days but now they are inseparable, they have even learnt how to use a cat flap in there shed into there run. its fab.

and now i have tilly a neutered bun who someone brought to me after he was dumped in a field, he now lives with Rosie, since she passed her bladder stone wednesday (check out my thread on it, has pictures too) they snuggle up with each other and tilly regularly kisses Rosie...
