Senior Guinea Pig
Absolutely gutted and very shocked, just found my beautiful Leo in his forever sleep at the back of my tank 
I’ve had such problems with these guys (such a nightmare introducing them and losing them last year as some people might remember
) but him and his girlfriend Twiggy have been doing so well this year and breeding like mad recently.
The boys of the species care for the eggs, so he’s been running himself ragged keeping them clean as Twiggy has been laying them everywhere, I bought new breeding tubes and dens hoping it’d help but obviously not! Feel useless, I’d wanted these guys for years and was hoping he’d be with me for a long time yet especially after the huge failure with his mates last year, poor little guy

Wish I still had my snail tank going, that was where Mini hatched totally by accident! 
Moved some of the duckweed covered in eggs in there yesterday, won’t hold my breath but I’ll be hopeful!
