Hi,
Yesterday, I found this on on one of my guinea pig's back, left, middle toe (if that makes sense):

I have started putting Paw Paw cream/ointment on it 2/3 times a day.
I have emailed someone who can help but was also wanting your opinions, any secret remedies? Do you know what it is (it doesn’t look too much like Bumblefoot)? I do think it was from him not having enough bedding in his hutch (I gave him to my cousin to look after when I went away for 2 weeks), and I'm not entirely blaming it on her, but she does get really lazy sometimes and doesn't clean this hutch, so therefore, they walk on hard plastic :( , however, her guinea pig doesn't have any foot/ toe problems.

bumping for you, always worth getting anything you are unsure on checked over by a vet

It could be the beginnings of an infection, so you may want to have it checked by a vet. In your current heat, it doesn't take much for an infection to start up as the immune system is under great pressure right now.

Looks like it might get sare pretty fast :-( you dont use hemp bedding do you that can have sharp bits in that the same thing happened with a ham of mine when they got spiked :-(

Thanks for replies, will try and get him checked out ASAP :(.

Hi, my guineapig had sore feet when I bought her and they were a little swollen, so I went to pets at home and bought this pot of cream for only £3 and it works wonders! Just apply it once in the morning and then again in the afternoon, it's amazing stuff! But if it doesn't work then I would see a vet.

I looked on the site and found this in both the guinea pig and rabbit section, is it the same thing?
