Has anyone got any ideas?
I've literally got Carrots, celery, tiny bit of romaine and a small about of brocolli left and pepper
Went to asda, been to local shops (grocers and supermarket) as well as farm shops and EVERYWHERE is sold out of lettuce apart from iceberg. Has anyone got any ideas of alternatives or anything as they love their lettuce and they normally have at least two types per meal so don't want to change their diet much.
I already hate summer :@
Thanks

Mine love spring greens which have big leaves like lettuce does

Thank you all, i'm gonna try the spring greens.
No where has parsley near us apart from the crushed herbs in a jar which won't be filling/interesting to them.
I've never tried them on corriander tbh, i'm gonna pop down later and have another look - hopefully they've restocked.
I've never seen such veg shortages :O

You can grow your own herbs in pots or window sill boxes! This weekend was quite extreme - lots of things had gone quickly!

I feed pointed cabbage virtually daily instead of vitamin A rich lettuce (and carrots - vitamin A builds up in the liver so should not be fed daily) ; spring greens, savoy and green cabbage for variation (but mine love pointed cabbage best).
