i have never washed/bathed any of my piggies before i usually leave it to them to clean themselves but where poor lily is poorly she was so weak that she just layed in her own urine so therefore her white fur was a bit smelly and dirty. i put some pet shampoo in the sink and held her whilst washing her down with cotton wool pads but she was squeaking quite a bit and i was a little unsure if i was frightening her or not so i stopped she is still quite dirty, can someone give me some advice I'm rubbish at this sort of thing. 98)

Maybe use an old flannel soaked in warm water? To be honest while she is just so ill I'd leave her until she is up to it. Bless her. Any improvement today?

A little, shes still not using her back legs much which is worrying but shes eating well and enjoying the piece and quiet with regular naps :) Shes going back to the vets tuesday to be checked so I'm just hoping shes back on her feet by then if not I'm hoping its not serious, poor lil girl shes just so young :( I called the pet shop today and they are getting the manager to contact me tomoro or tuesday about paying for the vets bills so hopefully that works out if not I'm not too bothered as long as she is ok.
