I made a make-shift litter corner tray thing for my piggies once and they did go everytime and do the toilet in it - I only used it when they were in the play pen to try to prevent mess. I always meant to go and buy a proper one but never got round to it. It probably depends on your piggy if they want to use it or not. My friend is training her cat to use the human toilet and so far she's succeeding so I'm sure if you can train cats to use the human toilet and rabbits to use litter trays then it must be possible to train piggies.
I don't think it's really gunna work to be honest but you could try it anyway.
My piggies have two litter trays and they do poop and pee in there a lot, but they poop and pee everywhere else a lot too! I have hay racks above the litter trays and some food up there too because they usually go whilst they're eating :
Hi there,
My guinea pig uses his litter tray 99% of the time. clever boy
When he has cuddles with me, he fidgets alot when he needs a wee and starts chattering, when I take him back to his house he always pops into his litter tray first for a wee before pottering off to his bed. He seems to respond well to praise and likes to be talked to like a baby.
My husband thinks that the men in white coats will come and take me away one day!
