Little Nigel has renal problems now too

Nigel is a heart pig and is on regular heart medication. He has good days and bad but his weight has been an ongoing battle.

He is today at an all time low of 616g. At his heaviest he has been around 840g. We do regular wee tests and each time they show up a high protein reading. Am working with my vets and rodentologist and apparently it is not uncommon for a heart pig to also have renal issues.

The Fortekor he is on will also help with the renal issue so is just a management situation really.

Just thought I would post on here for lots of positive vibes for my little man.
