I rang a local rescue today and she was vhelpful, she also informed me I may be better with a neautered male...anyone any experiences of introducing a male to female...and female to female
 
We have done both here all depends on the personality of the guinea pig whether they get on O0
 
I have bonded male to female and tbh was easier then I expected. I put them in the bath to meet so neither scents were presence and lots of veggies. They fell asleep in the tunnel together so I put them striaght into a new cage together and put them in the front room so could keep a close eye on them for a few days. Have had no probs so far x
 
Totally agree with Vikki - some gps get on like house on fire from the word go and others hate each other on sight and never change!

Best to introduce them on neutral ground e.g. in a run or cardboard box - give space for quick exits if there is trouble brewing.

Some people dab a drop of Bach's Rescue Remedy on the gps ears before intros begin - it can help.

There are some really usefull tips there, I like the Bach remedy, I'm a great beliver in thearaputic/holistic therapies.
