has got a third.

When Lola's real mummy died she went to live with Sheila and Cherry. She immediately formed a strong bond with Sheila and when Sheila died just a few weeks later, poor Lola was really sad. However, she has now found a new mummy in Cherry.

Lola sounds like a very loving girl, and I am so glad to hear that she has been so well cared for by her different piggy mummies!

Poor Lola, she's had a rough start to life. I'm so glad things are on the up for her now :)

Lola has got a very special name. She has been named after a very mature little girl, who gave up her guinea pig, who she loved dearly, because he needed to get treatment for his dental problems. After Wilfie was unable to get the treatment he needed closer to home, she agreed to him coming to live with me. I find it so sad that a little girl had to let her much loved guinea pig go, because so few vets are able to deal with dental problems. However, I keep in touch with the family and send Lola regular updates and pics of Wilfie and have said they are very welcome to visit him at any time.

Oh bless her. I'm so glad Cherry's adopted her; for both of them & i bet Fairy-pig Sheila's watching over her x)

It's so good to see Cherry again Debbie. She was a lovely mum to her own babies. So glad she is now looking after others. xx

I don't think she could be in a better home. She is gorgeous and so is Cherry so glad they found each other.

aww thats such a lovely story about how lola got her name! it must have been so hard for lola to give up her piggy x
great to see lola looking happy with cherry x

What a very special little girl indeed! I hopt that Lola and Cherry will be happy together for a long time to come!

That is such a wonderfully sweet thing... that piggies care so much about eachother. One of my first piggy memories is when I was at a zoo here in Sweden and they had a big enclosure with about 30 pigs. They were roaming around and if babies wheeked in one hidey there would be an adult there to piggy train them to another within seconds. They all seemed to think that someone's baby is everyone's baby :).

That is so lovely. What a nice story and so pleased she has a momma to look after her.

xx
