loneliness?

Hi, my guinea pig has just gone into the vets for a night over and its strange because I'm really worried about him. When i fed his brother who is still at home with me he has only touched a little of his food and doesn't seem to be happy.

I think my guinea pigs are lonely. Do you think my sick guinea pig will be ok on his own for the night in a vets?
 
aww i know, its been a year and they have never left my sight or been seperated.

darn why do guinea pigs have to be so cute and melt my heart
 
Scarby 0:) had to spend a night at the vets. I expect he had a better night there than I did at home worrying and crying. :(

Why is your guinea at the vet?
 
like Lucinda says he'll probably have a better night at the vets than you will have in you're house when i had gideon in the vets overnight i was worried sick about him hopefully i never need to go through that again
 
If I have to leave a piggy at the vets,even for a few hours, I always take a companion pig as well.Piggies(especially sows)get very stressed when they are put by themselves,and being in a strange place is stressful enough as it is.
 
Like Mary I take mine in in their pairs unless its a single boar. Even for an ordinary consultation they always have a friend with them.
