Hi everyone
I lost a piggy this weekend, he was near 9 years old. He is survived by his life long roommate who is also nearing 9 years old.
My question is; what can I do to comfort my remaining piggy? My instinct it to run and pick up a new friend for him, but as my children are headed to college soon, thats not a realistic solution.
I just know he has to be lonely.
Any tips would be appreciated.

I'm very sorry for your loss.

I believe at this age, it would be okay for your pig to live out the rest of his days with just you as company.

There are also articles on here on how to help a grieving piggy.

Sorry for your loss, you must be a wonderful guinea slave for them both to be around 9yrs old.

Do you have any rescues nearby that you could perhaps foster a friend for him if you're not wanting any more guineas long term?

In the meantime the above link by timmypiggy will help.
Little things like putting the tv or radio on for company -or a soft toy designed for babies -no bits to pull off or swallow put in to keep him company.
Big hug for you &a chinny tickle for your remaining piggy.
Rip little man Xx
