Lost tooth

Hiya everyone, I noticed thet one of my piggys only has one tooth at the top, Is this ok? I can see a little stump that is left, It looks liked it has snapped.Shes eating ok and is otherwise healthy. She is 5 months old now. Do I need to do anything, Many thanks

Hi Heidi, Just make sure she's eating as normal and weigh her weekly to make sure she's not losing any weight.
You'll be so surprised when you realise that after no more than a few days the tooth will reappear! They grow really fast!
Make sure when it does grow that they meet at the middle and there's no overlap with the bottom teeth.

I agree, piggie teeth grow fast, all should be normal again within 7-10 days at most.

Is she a bar biter? If she chews on the cage bars it could explain what happened to that tooth.
