Hey guys! I wanted to know about something.... Since on week I was feeding alot of spinach to my guinea pigs like 12 leaves a day but recently I discovered it has a lot of calcium and can cause bladder stones.. my piggies are totally fine and doing good urine. Should everything be fine now if I cut off the spinach or should I go and get them checked at the vet?

i would not worry too much, just feed 2 or 3 leaves once aweek due to its high oxcilate, calcium content.there is a diet guide,I'm hoping someone will link these for you.

I m taking noted from your guides ❤ thanks alot guys I got really worried after acknowledging that spinach in large amounts is not good for them and was thinking what if I accidentally gave them bladder stones I ll take proper care now❤

Another thing you can add is lettuce. Green/red leaf and butterhead are recommended as they’re the most nutritious. A leaf per pig per day is perfectly ok :)
