So, for some of the 'old timers' on this forum, you may remember me. For a period of my life I practically lived on here but then for various reasons, life took over and then I find I haven't been on here in ages. I will try harder to visit.
Anyway, that isn't why I am here. Again, for those of you who have been around a while you may remember this thread:

Angela was a freeads piggy who was found by one of the members of this forum (I think it was Hils, it was a while ago now). I collected her from her owners who no longer wanted her with the plan on taking her to Karen at Reading Guinea Pig Rescue. She never left me and instead became cage mates with one of my other rescues, Trixie (who came from starshine). Trixie has since passed away, however Angela was still going strong - until about 3 weeks ago when a mysterious lump appeared. Despite frequent vet visits and some attempts to reduce it's size using medication it appears to be some sort of tumour and it is getting bigger.
Angela will be going in for an op tomorrow to have it removed. I am terrified. I don't know exactly how old she is (being a rescue you are never sure) but if I take the word of her previous owner, she would be about 5 now. Anesthetic is always a risk..... Anyway, even though I have been rubbish at coming on here and keeping in touch with people I would like to ask for some vibes and for everyone to keep everything crossed that my girl comes out of her op OK tomorrow....
