I keep finding Bonnie and Lottie under their fleece-its driving me mad because its messing all their cage up.Since they've being doing this(which only started today), they have been what looked to me-close to fighting.
This morning we heard a lot of vocals going on and when we went in to investigate Bonnie was in one corner making VERY loud chattering muttering noises and Lottie was in the other corner chattering her teeth-Bonnie looked petrified, we actually intervened and got her out to calm her down. This has happened 3 times today and I think it has something to do with them burrowing under the fleece-why have they suddenly started doing this?

Hmmm maybe the whole getting under the fleece is 'new territory' and they're re establishing who's boss when this occurs? Either that or they've fell out over something else? Two out of my 4 boys tunnel, drives me insane but they love it rolleyes
I'm gonna get a fleece liner when I can so they can't get under. I have my fleece overlapped anyway as they chew the correx but they still get under! You could try clipping the fleece on like I do which doesnt work for me much but might for you. I'd say keep an eye on them and hopefully it's a phase or hormones and it'll pass :)

I would keep a close eye on them. As said it may well be hormones if they are going through that stage in growing up. If no blood is drawn and one isnt getting bullied so badly she wont eat/cant get to food/drink then let them sort it out for now.

Our Little Miss and Onion have the odd day every now any then when they do this, and so does the herd. But it usually settles down once one sow backs down.

I had this at the start with my three, it made for a nerve wracking 3-4 days! Then they all got on ok until one of them came on heat (I think) then she was chasing the little one away from food, hideys etc. Anyway as I couldn't bear the squeaks any more I dabbed a tiny bit of Vicks Vapourub just above her nose (not near the nostrils) & on the tail end of the little one & completely cleaned the cage out & replaced everything clean & touch wood, they seem ok again now.

Lottie and Bonnie are still burrowing under their fleece and I'm going to just ignore it and hope they stop eventually, besides, its killing my back leaning down to put it right again!

Lottie is SO grumpy, when you pick her up she whinges so I'm going to put it down to her being hormonal. Its strange how 2 sisters can have such different personalities-Bonnie is so quiet and laid back-you certainly know you've got Lottie. :(|)
