Lottie and Dottie 6 months on

Don't know where our first 6 months has gone!

A few days after we got our girls (7-8 weeks old)

6 months on...

Lottie is still smaller but weighs only slightly less than Dottie and she does eat her share of the food now! I didn't realise quite how much Dottie was stretching forwards haha, they still have the occasional fall out but are always friends a minute later

We have found a local shop that is also a rescue centre for rabbits and guineas at the weekend and are considering re-homing a couple of boars that they have had for a while so Lottie and Dottie may have some new friends

They are lovely girls!

Please be aware that you should keep boars away and out of sight from sows, as the pheromones when sows come in season can provoke fights and fall outs; ideally across the room, at worst boys above the girls. This is especially important with subadult boars and their hormonal surges.

If your boys and girls are to use the same run, always let the boys out first in order to avoid trouble.
