Loud Purring

When I stroke my guinea pig on the back she purs really loud, is that a good think of not lol. She doesn't run away or anything

Not an expert but from what I've gathered its's a way of telling you to stop . My two boars do it to each other sometimes , it's a long sound , it should resemble some sort of irritation if you know what I'm trying to say ...

if you see online a lot of people say that a loud similar purring means they are happy. I don't agree at all... My piggies purr that way when they don't like a sudden weird noise (for example a strange sound from the tv; the keys of my neighbours; someone stroking her back or her belly; the alarm clock; the noise of the neighbour's dog on the stairs, certain music...). When they are happy their vocal sound is delicate and different. My former and tame piggie on the contrary used to show his happiness with a great vocal sound, but he also used to purr that way when: my neighbour opened his door; when some stranger came in; and so on...
