This is Loulou
She was owned by a lovely lady along with her mate, but sadly loulous mate died so she was left alone. When i went to collect her i noticed she had a bad eye and apparently she had seen a vet and had some ointment for it but it was on the mend.
Once i got her home i took her to my vet who gave her an injection and some drops.
I introduced her to my group and she got on well with all of them except Fuzzy who was having none of it, i watched closely for a while but after a few flying clumps of fur thought it best not to risk it, Fuzzy is very much group nanny but Loulou also wanted that position which was obviously not up for negotiation.
I put her in a seperate hutch i keep spare for such times but felt so sorry for her especially as the whole reason i took her was so she could be part of a piggy group.
After a few days i could stand it no more so built a new winter pen with house and bought in 2 more baby girls, Africa and India to keep her company, they all got on really well as she could mother them, i let the other group out for extra grass time where they could all meet through the fencing, Fuzzy, Peggy and Mouse went one way but Lola and Asia hung roung with the new group so after a little debating i added them together.
I now have 2 very happy groups all living together.
