Well, I blame you all:)) I have seen all the lovely pics and heard beautiful stories and I got to thinking maybe Quinn did need a friend... so I totted off to the local cavy rehome place, a small home run one, the lady only had one neutered boy available and.... he HATES other boys! Oh dear... but he was lovely I brought him home with me and he is now going to have a harem of girls to play with! Lucky boy:(|) His name is Ludo and he is approx 2 years old and a crested agouti... He hopefully won't be the last, as I have seen a girly pig on here that I love, we just have to work out the logistics to get her here;)
Ludo...

Aw thanks!:) He is a lovely boy, has an attitude too;) I was going to call him Boris, but I got him home, looked at him and thought, no 'Ludo' and it stuck... well til I called him Vinnie earlierrolleyes:))

Yes, he's quite safe;) He originally lived with another boy and they were both neutered, but he went for the boy and so he was rehomed, he has nothing down there and all the fur is back, the lady who does the rehome is a veterinary nurse and a rodentologist and will not let the piggies go to anywhere that breeds whether they be male or female... He is so lovely, I do like my crested piggies!:)

Thanks everyone:) Well he is a bit of a bossy boots! I tried him with my single piggie Evie (since her abscess removal last year, she will not accept her original pack....) they hated each other... then I tried him with Pearl, Lola and Maggie-May (Evie's old group)... he and Lola did not like each other one bit... so I had two choices, my big group of girls, who are moving into a C&C cage in the spring/summer or my oldie group of 4... he is now in the group of 7 and although he and Skye are a bit 'chuffy' he has settled down very well...
Such a lovely boy though and I have to cuddle him at every opportunityrolleyes:))
