[Sara’s Piggies]

Lumen past away last Wednesday. She was 6.5 years old and had been showing signs of heart disease and general age related health issues the last few months. She was slowing down but happy and active until her last day. She had been slowly declining but every time we considered taking her to the vet to help her cross the rainbow bridge she would find a way to show us she was okay and it wasn’t her time. Lumen was always a very stubborn and smart. She passed away at home on her own terms. In true Lumen fashion she was not about to let anyone else make that decision for her. I miss her dearly but am grateful for the 6.5 years I got with her.
