This is the blind/partially sighted boy i collected from the same place Ellie, Glynis & Ron came from. His right eye is sunken but i'm not 100% sure that he can't see out of his left eye, i'm going to take him to the vets & have him checked over.

Sweet boy! My Kiki has got a sunken eye but it looks like someone has pierced the eyeball and it's deflated, if you see what I mean. It doesn't cause her any problems.

Hope he's ok

Thanks Sophie. That's just how his looks, it's dead flat & his eyelids are much smaller than on his other side but it's no detriment to him, he acts like any other piggy x)

I think he may be Mr for "official purposes" ie the vets but at home he can just be Magoo :(|)

Thanks Lindsay & PP. He's 931g Lindsay so not a lightweight & in great condition. :)
 
What a handsome boy Magoo is. If he has lost the sight in his bad eye he must be coping ok with it as he looks in great condition. Brilliant name.
 
He is gorgeous Niki! Love the name beats Stevie Wonder hands down! Hope his eye is ok. x

Hey he is lovely, and being either totally or partially blind has not dulled his senses as he is a fat little ! :)p
 
All the best to the handsome boy - loss of sight is thankfully not the end of the world for a piggie, as other senses are stronger.

Just don't approach him from his blind side; he'll hate that!

PS: I love his name!

Magoo_Update

The vet said he thought his right eye had never formed properly & it wasn't due to an illness & he doesn't have any sight in that eye. His other eye looked normal but he hardly responded to movement or when the torch was shone into it (called ?macular response).
The vet put him on the floor & he walked about & wasn't startled. Wether he has limited vision in his good eye or he's blind he didn't know (this wasn't the piggy vet) but the good news was that there is nothing untoward behind either eye which is what i was concerned about :)

Good news to about his eyes, awwwwwwwwwww must've had a rough time either at birth or just after?
