Making edible stockings

Got myself some dried nettles to make stockings for the boys this christmas but not sure what to use to stick my brown paper together to make them - something that doesn't matter if they munch it.

Reckon I could use flour & water paste?


Any ideas?

I don't see why you can't use a variety on the flapjack mix with the flour? Not golden syrup though, something like oats, honey dried fruit etc? :S otherwise I'm not too sure good luck though
