Hes fine thanks, he had a little tab that was hanging so they took it off with heat.. (sorry cant spell the proper name!) Just got to keep bathing it and keep it clean x

Glad to hear he's sorted. I think when they remove something with heat it is called cauterising.

Not sure what is going on with him at the moment...

When he went to the vets he had a very small amount of gass but when we had finished doing his ear he had what looked like milk coming out of his eyes. I was told to keep an eye on hima as it may be some thing eles going on. Yesterday he started making odd noise, snezzing and like a cough... very odd. He is a little loose (pooh) but I have put that down to the baytrill. I have popped into work this morning and have had a word with the vet. I will see how he goes this morning and will take him to work with me later if at all worried. Any ideas please!

The milky fluid in the eyes is grooming fluid, perfectly normal. Only a problem if it doesn't drain away within 5 minutes or so. How frequently is he sneezing/coughing? The occasional cough and sneeze can be normal, when piggies are eating and sticking their heads in hay. The loose poops are probably down to the Baytril - are you giving him a probiotic at all?

Thanks CCC4, I will get some probiotic for him today. Can you explain what the grooming fluid is?
I'm going to keep him off fruit and veg for a couple of days untill his poops are back to normal.

When the pigs groom themselves (wash their faces and as far on their bodies as they can reach!) they produce a milky fluid from their eyes - and sometimes it drains through their nose too. They use this to groom with, and it drains away by itself within a few minutes. If it doesn't drain within a few minutes, and just sits in the eye and leaks out into the fur surrounding the eye, then it could be a blocked tear duct (which can be caused by a few different things).
