Marge in a Birdcage! EASTENDERS

Just watching eastenders and there is Marge the guinea pig sitting in a bird cage with straw in the bottom at the kitchen table! Can't believe they would broadcast that on tv, even the smallest nero cage wold be better than that and theres no way I would ever keep a guinea pig in one of them! :tickedoff:
 
I was just going to say about that, how could they do that! If they wanted to show Abbi with Marge and her carrying it then why not a small storyline about going the vet that way she could have come in with her holding a travel box.

What happened to the babies?

You may get mad but in real life i bet you they are more SPOILT than our piggys with the money they get for being a star ;D ;D ;D Just remember its only on TV and its not real wel lyou know what i mean they dont stay there ;) It is cruel though but thats what tv is about the viewers to get catched into the programme or by hating them or loving them O0
 
I think we all realise that Marge is probably very spoilt in real life but it's the image they are projecting on television that it's ok to keep guinea pigs in a bird cage that is making me so mad! If they just showed proper care and housing then maybe there would be less guinea pigs suffering in inadequate housing without enough room to turn around.

True but they like to show wrong things on tv now days like killings and rapes and murders etc and like to show animal cruelty too :o :o Its sad yes but they need to know about the things first i agree :-\
 
I assumed that was Marge's carrying case because last time i saw her she was in a Nero ?  :-\
 
Yes, it was just her carrying cage, but as all of her babies were boys, she had to live in her carry cage.
 
i have absolutely no idea who marge is cos last time i watched enders kat n alfie got married
but isnt it better for marge to live in her carry case for a wee while than to get preggers again by her own sons? :-\

But the other day they showed Abbie getting upset cos she was rehoming the babies? And now shes on about Marge being lonely!
 
The only positive thing I would say is that Abbi loves Marge and as a child she is being portrayed as a good guinea pig owner. :)
