I introduced myself the other day... now I can introduce Hector:

and Humphrey:

These two boys were abandoned in a council house and found by the new tenants some weeks later. I got them from the rescue two months after that and they were still extremely skinny and frightened.

Humphrey is extremely polite, the complete gentleman really, and he looks up at you as if to ask "Are you my Mummy?" We thought he was about a year old when rescued, but I took him along to CCT with the others since I was going last May and Vedra said he was at least two and a half at that stage. Poor wee lad. He now weighs just under 1.4 kg.

Hector was a nightmare, only a few months old, completely wild and uncontrollable. But he had survived with Humphrey, and made friends during floor and grass time with my older boy Hugo who died in the summer, and about two weeks afterwards Hector seemed to change personality. He became much more amenable and even stopped biting me. I wonder whether he was just desperate to get away from me and back to his buddies, then realised after Hugo went that he was top pig?

Anyway, he sat beautifully for this photo session. Both of them are really quite black, but the photos are without flash in the morning sun. I can't get decent pics in artifical light with them at all.

This is them with Hugo about a year ago.

Hector & Humphrey! I remember seeing those two on the website and wishing so badly i could have them. Humphrey just tugs at the heartstrings with those beautiful, sad little droopy eyes. I have a real soft spot for petit looking shelites & crested piggies! I am so glad these beautiful boys have a new home.

They are both very handsome boys! x) Thanks for sharing their story and pigtures. hope to see more of them in the future.
