I can't contain my excitement anymore - we have a beautiful addition to our family! Bonnie is a two-and-a-half year old Scottish Terrier. I've taken the week off work to settle her into our household and she's doing just fine!
Look at how gorgeous she is! I'm in love x)

Oh she is really lovely. Is she a rescue?

Yes, she's a rescue, and we're extremely lucky because her previous owner wrote 5 pages of information about her, gave us a photo album of her from the time she was a wee puppy, plus her bed, blankets, toys, bowls etc. At the moment I feel she is adapting well to her new environment. I'm practising leaving her alone; building it up for 5 minutes out of the room, then 10 and so on. Yesterday we did an hour away from the house and she was fine. She's been 'crate' trained and is happy to sleep in there at night (she hasn't made a sound - not even on her first night). Good girl.

She's also respecting my space when I'm in the shed with the piggies - I've told her to keep away and we've created an 'invisible' boundary on the path leading up to shed which she's not allowed to cross. Bless her paws. x)
