Meet my wee lodger...

What a beautiful piggie, and he looks in fab condition too (he is just so cute!) I hope he finds a new piggy friend or wife soon, and finds himself a loving forever home :)

He is still quite timid but will come out of the house to get cucumber and carrot. He doesn't eat peppers, cabbage, broccoli or oxbow pellets, and I'm getting a little worried about vitamin C so I might syringe him some (I will try parsley first though!) He doesn't eat much hay but his teeth look fine. He still haven't ventured outside the hay crate...

His back paw nails were ok, but the front... On each paw one toe was folded in under the paw because the nail was so long. I only noticed yesterday when I thought he had been with me long enough for me to examine him a bit and felt pretty bad... Now they are cut, though.

I'm going to Gothenburg in two weeks so it will be some time until he can have a friend, but hopefully it won't hurt him to get used to piggies from a distance (mine) before the piggy mayhem of the rescue :)

What a lovely little fella, he really is lovely. Such a shame about the life that some piggies have been dealt with. :( Good luck with finding him a new friend, I really hope he comes out of his shell a bit and feels more relaxed. xx
