Before Spike sadly passed away I was considering finding another female to add to the herd. Then when he suddenly died I said ‘I’m never getting anymore animals, too much heartache!’. ..
A week later I decided to contact a local rescue. I wasn’t keen on getting another boy so soon, As Spike was a one in a million special boy.
So to cut a short story shorter..
Meet my new Girl Pippin :D
She’s about 2 years old and was an owner surrender, left in a box with no explanation. The rescue lady called her Poppy, however I know a blonde greyhound called Poppy so it didn’t seem the right name to me.
New start so new name :)
I’ve set her up a little 2x2 on her own for a few days, next to the other girls so they can get to know each other slowly through the safety of the grids.
