Junior Guinea Pig
I have three guineas and I'm pretty new to the forum, so thought I'd introduce them x):
This is my beautiful lady Meg
And her just as beautiful sister, Poppy.
I've had these two for 3 years now, after them becoming my first every guinea pigs (on a bit of a whim) from a rescue I used to volunteer at. They were in a not-ideal environment in the rescue, and had been handed over at 18 months because they lady's partner didn't want them (I'd rather get rid of him). Theyre quite shy girls, particularly Poppy, but are spoilt rotten and are now at the lovely age of 4 1/2, with chunky tummys and junk in the trunk.
This is four month old Rufus, and he is a very new addition to the family, being rehomed from the same rescue Poppy and Meg came from. He was given to the rescue having only lived a month with his previous owner and she gave him up after she said he was too timid and bit her (not even drawing blood) grrrr. He's since come out of his shell and spends his evenings running round under the covers on my bed nibbling on my leggings. He now squeaks at all hours and takes food from my hands and it annoys me someone thinks a guinea can settle so quickly and gave up on him, but fortunately they did and I found him. I got him with the intention of him hopefully moving in with the girls after he's neutered on 2nd June, as my girls are so reliant on each other, my plan was to move him in so that they have company and aren't alone when that inevitalbe horrible time does come (hopefully a long long way away).
