Poppy was introduced to our herd back in April when we adopted her from a Guinea Pig sanctuary. To begin she was very very nervous of humans and would shake with fear whenever stroked. After a few months of "kale rehabilitation" she is now 1200 grams of pure fluffy loveliness (vet confirmed she is just big-boned)! Poppy loves strokes and cuddles outside of the cage, frequently going into "pancake pig" mode.

Today was Poppy's big photo shoot (she was previously too nervous for this) and am pleased to report she performed like a true pro. :)

Oh my, what a stunner! How she ended up at a rescue is beyond me, I couldn't have let that beauty go anywhere!

Except maybe in my pocket :bal:

Stunning, even in the pictures where it looks like she has no feet!

Loving the stinkeye from her piggy friend too.

Not sure how this is a piggy napping defence! Where are you I'm Colchester, a 2 hr drive won't put me off! :bal::dri:

So this is roughly what our of our newly refurbished GP room looks like right now @Lexipiggie :D

When I told Poppy how much attention she was getting on the forum i'm sure she was blushing through those golden locks. :)

Haha proper defense system there!

@Lexipiggie and @Cavy Kung-Fu how athletic and bendy are you? Do you think you could dodge the laser beams?:bal: At least you wouldn't need the piggie torches!

I used to do gymnastics! :bal:
