Meet Snoopy, Posh and Tilly’s new friend

We have a new member of our Guinea pig family. This is Snoopy! he has come to live with Posh and Tilly. He’s a really friendly boy who loves humans who give him a good back and head rub. he’s quite easy to handle, he’s let me cut his nails today without any bother at all. he’s around 9 months old and came into rescue because he fell out with his friend. The girls are getting along well with him, although they soon put him in his place if he gets a bit over excited. They have been together since Tuesday and things have been fairly relaxed up to now 🤞🤞🤞

He’s certainly landed on his cute little paws

Snoopy says thank you Miss Bramble, the girls are quite impressed with my popcorning moves and slaves thinks I’m a “poppet” (not sure what she means?) but things are good around here as far

Snoopy has settled in with the girls really well. I found out that Snoopy and his friend had been advertised “for free” in the Plymouth area. A lady who helps out at the sanctuary saw them and asked if she could collect them and bring hem back to the rescue. They were found in a tiny and dirty cage, not good for two young boars to have so little space. They were suffering from breathing conditions because of the ammonia build up. the boys were clearly not getting along very well so the decision was decided to separate and neuter. Nothing boys made a good recovery and there breathing is back to normal as soon as they were in good living conditions.
Snoopy pulled out the winning ticket for a hamper on Maria’s auction site, I was the lucky winner. He also melted John’s heart when he saw him at the shelter
