Yes Wiebke is adopting from me and is adopting little Ambre but Wiebke will tell you her new namemallethead:)):))

she is a very beautiful sow who has been here for 10 wks now after been dumped,she suffers with blocked tear ducts,but this never bothers her...

Meet Hafina (pronounced "Hah-VEE-nah" ), a girl name derived from the Welsh word for "summer". I feel that this name really suits her!

Sadly, Hafina's chances of being rehomed the normal way are virtually nil because of her eye problem, but she is too well to spend the rest of her life as a pensioner at the rescue. Now you know why I have tried to make a bit more space by reorganising the cage for one very special last member of the tribe (and why my hubby has given in). I hope that you agree that Hafina deserves some special tlc after what she's been through! (Thankfully, no pregnancy!)

Hope she settles in well. So glad that rescues exist and that not everyone would be put off by existing health issues. Lovely news for all concerned :)

She is soooo beautiful, and doesn't she have a lovely beaming smile. You're a very special person, Wiebke, to be giving her the chance of a normal life, and she will be a perfect addition to your Tribe, I know it.

No, it is still there! mallethead

But the two tier bunkhouse has been a resounding success after I added a ramp (under which Cariad is sleeping) and so has the holiday pen. Hafina is an adult; I wouldn't want to add a baby to the current cage. She'll have the whole of the living room for roaming during the day.

Hafina will have to get used to travelling with us to Wales once a month together with my other piggy in need of daily medication, Nerys.

Sounds like you have it all planned down to the final detail. No wonder you hubby caved. :(|) Hope the introductions go smoothly. x

It has been a carefully planned campaign of several weeks indeed! :))

Firstly, I needed to be sure that I would be able to accommodate an additional piggy without compromising my others and then I needed to wait for the right time to ambush my hapless hubby (which was NOT easy!). Thankfully, I had that time as Hafina was still on pregnancy watch and Claire didn't push me for a full commitment until I was well and ready.

I also hope that intros will go well and that Hafina will accept Llewelyn's attentions. rolleyes

Congrats Wiebke! Hafina is a beautiful girlie, so lucky to be joining your family - can't wait to see her joining in with the Tribe.

And don't think nobody didn't notice you will be into double figures!
