Both my piggies have had a nasty uri for almost 2 months now, it seems that it never goes away! For now we’re sticking with a long course of sulfatrim, and seeing how that goes.
in the mean time, the vet suggested a less dusty bedding! I would love to do fleece but simply don’t have the time- i’m split between my mums house with the guineas and my dads house some of the time- and so can’t have anyone to spot clean everyday and wash the fleece.
So i’ve been looking at Paper bedding!
I tried fitch a few years ago but wasn’t so keen- it gave one of my piggies a uti.
I was looking at megazorb and was wondering if anyone had any experience with it? Hopefully it isn’t too dusty? And apart from megazorb- are there any good dust free beddings anyone would recommend? thanks everyone :)

I use Aubiose which is a hemp horse bedding and I love it. It’s a little dusty during a full clean out when you’re moving it all around but it settles really quickly and it’s super absorbent.

I really like the Kaytee clean'n'cozy paper bedding, its dust free and very absorbant, we use this in our hayroom area under the hay- its very soft on the piggies feet too :)

I used Megazorb, never found it to be dusty although I've heard others did.

I’ve used aubiose in the past and really liked it. The school guinea pigs were needed on megazorb which seemed okay as well.

I've used Megazorb in the past but it was dusty and it smelled at some point. The quality wasn't what it used to be when I first started using it. Not sure now though coz it was few years ago since I last used it. I use fleece now and sometimes paper bedding in the top floor of their hutch where the piggies sleep at night.

I used Aubiose too for a short time, but the mess my piggies make put me off with it coz it goes everywhere, especially when my piggies kick it off the hutch when they were running. Same with the woodshavings.
