Merino breed fur

Sup all! I've been wondering if it is possible to trim my pig which is a Merino. Or it is wise not to cut/trim them? But I prefer their fur to be short and neat.

Any tips?

All guineas can be trimmed (some need it more that others! ) Make sure you have sharp scissors, as like us they have hair not fur, and make sure the piggy is calm before you begin.

Thanks Connie, how do you normally trim guinea pig fur? Or let the groomer do the job?

I have two long straight haired boys, one is white so then it gets abit long round the bump it stains yellow so i keep it trimmed, i find the best way is the same way a hairdresser would cut out hair, but use two fingers as a comb.
