Why does my little boy pig constantly flip his food bowl upside down? It’s every day and I’ve even bought a heavier bowl but the little monkey flips it constantly! It makes such a mess on his vet bed just wondering if anyone else has a pig that does this?

Piggies are just messy.
I did have a boar some years ago who occasionally flipped his bowl - even tipped it down the ramp of the 2 tier cage.
Maybe it’s a boy thing.

Mine flip over the food bowl sometimes. I just take out the food bowl and they still eat the pellets.

It's an individual quirk, which some piggies develop to a fine art, especially if they are single and/or do to catch your attention.

I would recommend to feed veg and pellets and in small portions that can be eaten in one go and that you remove the bowl in between. Over 80% of the daily food should be hay. The less pellets you feed, the more hay your piggy eats, upping its dental and gut health and its longevity.
