The stars are particularly twinkly tonight but all I've managed to see are people going on holiday who aren't me

My work colleague has gone to some natural night woodland camping thing up near the scottish borders. No light pollution so he was hoping to get a good viewing of them. I forgot all about it so didn't even look but living in the middle of a well lit city probably wouldn't help anyway

I've been trying to see them since the beginning of the month, when I saw one and remembered that it was that time of the year again! Sadly, that was the only one I could see, because of light pollution... It's funny that I've been trying to see them since then with no luck and when I wasn't expecting it was when I could see one...
